"The difference between the IDF and other armies is that the IDF rarely admits any of these deadly blunders and when they do, Israelis don`t want to hear it."
The US army`s record in admitting to deadly blunders is less then stellar, one incident 40 years ago, in which civilians from an ally, not an enemy, were killed is an exception which proves the rule. In fact the IDF does what all armies do, they cover up and avoid blame. There have been quite a few wedding parties in Afghanastian and Iraq blown up by the US Air force - the US typically denies. |
