Like it or not, the US remains the linch-pin of world stability. If it and the dollar collapse, who and what will take its place?
The economies of China, the EU, Japan, and just about everyone else are tied directly or indirectly to the US. If the US goes down, the world will return to "tohu u`vohu" - utter chaos. The slowdown in orders from the US has already resulted in the shutdown of thousands of factories in China.
A "new world order" under UN auspices? Don`t make me laugh - or cry. Does *anyone* in the free world expect justice from a coalition of the OIC and the "non-aligned" countries? Yes, a few European thinkers think in these terms. The same ones who are already surrendering sovereignty to EU apparatchiks.
And Ron Paul? Even a broken clock tells the correct time twice a day.
PS: "Firefly", a short-lived series on Fox, portrayed a future universe dominated by an all powerful "Alliance" against those desiring freedom. And the two most common languages? English and Chinese |
