The trouble with the accounts of the soldiers is that they are allegations that have to be borne out by facts. IDF units have ways of knowing where every one of its soldiers are supposed to be. Of course, they can be sidetracked, but even that is a matter of record.

These issues have to investigated, just as the allegations that Palestinian Arabs were sent off to "camps" in Jenin, placed in refrigerated trucks. Yes, they were taken off to camps, but they were not tortured, and yes, the IDF soldiers cooled off in the refridgerated trucks on the hot summer night.

Soldiers have fabricated stories of being kidnapped. Unfortunately, even if these things did happen, if you could not document the time, the day, the area of Gaza, they are still rumors.

Palestinian Arabs are capable of "killing" children on camera. After the "shooting" the film goes to the News Service, even to Ms Hass, to prove . . . It proves nothing but that people lie to get sympathy for their cause
