Its not like anyone took the Israeli army`s investigations seriously anyway. They have a long and well-documented history of whitewashing Israel`s war crimes, and even the international law unit had a role in rubber stamping the war crimes committed in Gaza. So no one should have expected a serious investigation or consequences.
For any justice to be delivered, those who planned the massacres should be tried in an international court. In fact, the international law unit and the Israeli high court, who had a role in approving the war crimes, should be tried there as well. |
