| In the past 42 years, Israel had not submitted a single peace proposal. Soon after 1967 Yigal Yadin outlined his own vision of peace with the Arabs by returning the occupied territory and maintaining control of the border with Jordan. This vision was shot down by his own labor party which advocated the colonization of the occupied territory. Since then, Israel`s vision of peace was outlined in Menachem Begin`s line of "Peace for Peace" and the bumber stickers "Peace with the Golan". If this is the type of peace proposals Israel is willing to introduce, the Arabs better rally around Iran and help it build the biggest nuclear bomb it can. |
