If Israel must unilaterally quit the West Bank it will eventually be stripped of the remainder of its territories. The Palestinian demand of allowing the 48 refugees return to their homes includes Tel Aviv, Haifa and all. A unilateral withdrawal from the West Bank will be an act of national suicide leading to untold terror. The age old Arab dream of liberating the Middle East from all its Jews will then be their renewed goal encouraged by this irresponsible move.
