Things have changed. Haaretz would not publish such a Zionist Editorial these days. Having turned into a `universal`-`post Zionist` newspaper, this would have been too hard to digest for the current Editors. The "spirit" of this newspaper has changed dramatically, as shown in Mr Shoken`s commentary about this Editorial (published in the Hebrew version of Haaretz). Today, Haaretz would consider this Editorial too "Nationalist". What a pitty.
