| "ElBaradei: Israel strike on Iran would be `insane`" Israel is being asked to sit on its hands and watch the world fritter away the remaining time before Tehran builds an A-bomb. This is the real insanity. Israel has already dispensed with nuclear sites in Iraq and Syria; and although the Iranian nuclear programme is more distant, dispersed, and defended, Israel has repeatedly proven its ability to successfully conduct precise air missions far from its borders. I hope such a mission against Iran isn`t needed, that Iran`s leadership will listen to ElBaradei`s voice of reason and move, with good faith, toward the negociating table. But it would be insane to count on that happening. MV |
