This flurry of "loyalty" legislation bears an uncomfortably close resemblance to varies Acts passed in a certain European country in days gone by. I`d suggest that those advocating it, and other similar laws, have a read of the "Reich Citizenship Law" of September 15, 1935 - available at http://www.ess.uwe.ac.uk/documents/citizen.htm They might then do well to read (or hopefully re-read) Hannah Arendt`s "The Origins of Totalitarianism" They may find that they don`t like the company they are keeping!
