| Under this new law Gideon Levy will not go to jail. On the contrary the proponents of this bill will find him much to their sorrow on the State Podium being awarded the Outstanding Citizenship Award over and over again, because of his unswerving advocacy of Israel to fulfill its decared mission to be forever Jewish and DEMOCRATIC for all its citizens. There is no denial here. He is fighting for Israel`s right to exist as a Jewish and democratic state against the terrorist forces outside its borders as well as the fanatic right from within who would both deny and destroy Israel`s existence as a Jewish and Democratic State. The bill may very well prove to be a boomerang to those who conceived it for their own distorted purposes. |
