In case you haven`t realized, the vast majority of population growth happens in Hareidi settlements. Those people have about ten kids per year, at least 100,000 of the settlers are Hareidi. That`s how you have a huge "natural growth" rate. But, since every Israeli government from now on will be in the Hareidis` pockets (as it has been for some time), don`t expect Israel to do anything about it.
And no, the settlers aren`t looking for a buyout, just as most Jews wouldn`t leave Israel to go to another country. They want to live in Israel because it is their home. |
