Despite the fact that I agree that Arab sector needs housing, we have to look at the following data: most of them don`t pay any taxes and build illegally and most of them don`t want to be Israelis, but want only the privilligies (like job and social services).
Look. first of all there were only 70000 Arabs in Jerusalem in 1967 comparing to 300000 Jews, so that proves again that Arab have no case for Jerusalem and never before really cared about Jerusalem.
Secondly the "natural" growth of Arab sector in Jerusalem for the last 40 years is mostly due to illegal immigration of Arabs into city (for example by multiple marriages). |
