The observation that there is an inequality in government apportionment of subsidized housing and opportunities for permits for housing is important. However, it won`t make much sense to many in Israel to the extent that people here see the world as "Arab" versus "Jew". The response for most people is "the Arabs have so many countries to move out of here to".
Until underlying ethno-racialist preferences and ideology of the state are challenged, the observations of discrimination will fall short when it comes to implementing equality. |
