| I am not able to understand this article. I highly doubt that most Israelis (4 out of 5) believe that they could live with a nuclear armed Iran. All deterrence theories would eventually fail at that point because Iran is not a rational player as were the US and the USSR during the Therefore, the theory of mutual assured destruction wouldn`t work. Further, Israel would risk not to be able to retaliate against any of Iran`s proxies or terrorist organizations connected to Iran under an Iranian nuclear umbrella. I highly doubt that most Israelis don`t take this into consideration when asked about the nuclearization of Iran and the Iranian threat. |
