| Putting into perspective, Jews in America and Israel have gotten so accustomed to special treatment, this scares them a little. I dont think there will be a fundamental shift away from supporting Israel so much as a more even handed, clear eyed approach to what is really happening and, yes, what is in America`s interest. After all, Obama`s is the US president, isnt he? If that even handedness - that clear-eyed approach is bothersome, it may be just due the fact that over decades Israel has simply become spoiled by a special preferential treatment the US accords to simply no other nation on this planet. For better or worse thats the truth of the matter. |
