| "Hummiliating Palestinians or any human beings will haunt Israel." - Fortuna Benmayor Fortuna, there are two viewpoints in Israel. There are those, out of favor, and out of power, who perceive Palestinians as human beings. And there are those in power and politically acceptable who do not consider ANY Arab, even Israeli Arabs, as human. Having lived in the American South in the 1950s, I can easily see this. You live in a nation which has had at times snobbery, but never suffered blatant racism. And you are discomforted by the situation. My appreciation and sympathy. |
