The League of Nations??? Can you give me a list of countries that belong to the League of Nations, with a reliable source?
The League of Nations, which the power houses in Europe and their allies in New York established after WW I never achieved the status that was hoped for. The League of nations is what birthed the United Nations after WW II, and the United Nations specifically was mandated to use Geneva Conventions of 1948-49 as their basis for ruling on matters of international law.
Israel is a member of the United Nations, and thus, Israel falls within the boundaries of what is referred to as "international law".
The UN partition plan of Israel/Palestine, which Israel accepted before Palestine rejected, mandated specific borders, which just happen to be the pre-1967 "green line".
Name one more country in the world that openly supports the policy of settlement construction? The same countries that rejected South African apartheid... all of them. |
