Akiva Eldar : Akiva Eldar / Obama's settlement talks are insulting to Abbas

"Who says that the settlements are necessarily on "Palestinian land`?"

Here are some answers:
-The World Court (most authoritative judicial body in the world) says so. (2004 advisory opinion)
-The UN General Assembly (most representative political body in the world) says so. (Annual vote on Peaceful Resolution of the Question of Palestine)
-The Geneva Conventions (international humanitarian law) say so.

But I`ve read your posts and I`m sure you know all of those things already and either they don`t matter to you, or you have some intellectual maneuver that insulates you from taking them seriously because they don`t conform to your desired conclusion.

So let me just ask you-- what do you want to happen? Should the Palestinians just give up and die? I intend the question seriously and I await your serious response.

Hope you`re enjoying the 405, where I assume you spend most of your day. :P
