Dear Miss Amira Hass,
Just one question to the Article at hand,
As those buildings built from used tires filled and covered with mud, are not reinforced with anything that could take a horizontal forces like those you would see in an ordinary earthquake, stretching forces and shearing forces, like those you would see when loading a roof with some load including its own.
My question is simple,
How strong and stable are those buildings built from used tires filled and covered with mud? Could those buildings withstand an earthquake?

And I am particularly interested to know what would your Next Article say when this kindergarten would fall down on top of the children underneath?
I can visualize the Article headline
``Israel Responsible for Death of 20 Children Massacred in Kindergarten``
The next one reads,
``Israel gives OK`s a building with no Building Permit, 20 Palestinian Children Dead,

Thank you Amira for hinting in your Article that becoming a construction engineer is for children, it seems as if it is telling people not to waste 4 years becoming a construction engineer, just do it yourself build a mud and tire building, it is safe, they would not fall like those mud buildings that fell down in the mild earthquake in Iran killing tens of thousands of people!
