| to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people. The Arabs have not accepted the concept since at least 1920 and have rejected it even after the UN voted explicitly to set up a "Jewish state" in the country some 62 years ago. They have rejected it and went to wars to undo the proclamation of Israel some 61 years ago and again in 1967 and 1973. They still don`t accept Israel`s right to exist, a UN member state mind you! It is in this context that they have been conducting a war-of-attrition on Israel`s civilian population through the use of terror, one that commenced in 1920 and is yet to cease. Therefore, recognize Israel`s right to be, to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people. Accept it, internalize it, act in a way you do and state it in Arabic, Hebrew and English. This will allow the Jewish people to finally lower its guards and take major risks toward peace. If you refuse to do so, it is only indicative to us what your real long term aim is...!!! |
