The son of the oldest soldier killed in the 2006 Second Lebanon War has celebrated his bar mitzvah without his father.

Yaron Amitai volunteered to serve in the conflict and was killed on the last night of the war by friendly fire.

His memory took center stage in his son's rite of passage.
