Haaretz.com/Channel 10 special news bulletin for May 8, 2008.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Thursday denied charges of having accepted illicit funds from U.S. businessman, Morris (Moshe) Talansky, speaking at a late-night news conference he convened as speculation swirled that a police investigation into his affairs would increase pressure on him to resign.

Olmert also stated that he would indeed quit if indicted.
